FMT & Airbus UK work together on new Sealant Project.
FMT have been awarded multiple contracts to supply Airbus UK with tooling to manufacture Sealant nozzles used in their aircraft manufacturing in the UK. The Nozzles were previously made in stainless steel and very expensive. FMT have provided new plastic mould tooling and prototypes that have lead to the nozzles now being made in plastic, saving Airbus UK thousands of pounds and speeding up production.
